In business analysis, there are often greater conceptual challenges than can be seen at first glance. Mastering these well or not correctly decides whether a system is designed well, mediocre or badly.
Inadequate business analysis leads to poorly designed systems that suffer from a lack of acceptance, high maintenance costs and poor time-to-market, even if they were built by good developers. This may cause significant additional costs and time delays or even cause a project to fail.
In all of my projects, I take some part in business analysis, in some I’m the main contributor. I see this as one of my strengths.
