The Global Services Method, which existed when I was at IBM, describes and defines a lot that I later found again at ISTQB. As part of the Global Services Method training, I was able to work very confidently with the test methodology and also took on the role of test manager

I was certified by ISTQB in 2009.

 ALM Quality Center

Formerly known as HP ALM QC. Standard for many customers, so I worked a lot with it to create and run test cases.

In development, for defect management usually Jira is being used, as this tool is generally already used for the management of development tasks. Sometimes in combination with other tools such as ALM QC or Xray.

Xray offers a complete test management suite that integrates seamlessly with Jira. Like ALM QC, it supports the entire test life cycle such as test planning, design, execution and test reporting, including complete traceability of requirements. I found it to be a very good alternative.
